Fig Hollow Farm was created from a lifelong connection to growing, cooking, and creating with intention.

I was raised in San Diego at a time when parts of it still felt open and rooted in the land. My family grew much of our own food, and the kitchen was always at the center of everything. Weekends meant gathering, cooking, and learning from those who came before me, especially my parents and grandparents, who carried traditions that valued simplicity, resourcefulness, and the beauty of using what you have.

Over time, that foundation grew into something deeper. What began as cooking with fresh ingredients turned into a love for herbs, spices, and the role they play in everyday life. It also sparked a passion for creating, whether through recipes, handcrafted blends, or thoughtfully designed goods inspired by nature.
